I have just finished the first round of editing for my new book. This is a process I enjoy and I feel it is now a fuller and more rounded story. The next round of editing are the line edits- the small details that give it a final polish. I'm looking forward to seeing the cover (a way off yet.) Somehow seeing the cover it what makes me think of it as a book rather than a typescript.
I sent the draft off on Friday and spent much of the weekend doing vey little. I did attend the local ANZAC Day service and stood in the rain along with many others. We went to Gallipoli many years ago when there were few tourists. A stark and moving place, I always remember it on ANZAC Day.
I spending this week trying to catch up. (hence the blogpost). I put one book on my shelves for Goodreads.I must have done the right thing by accident, because I can't add the others I want to. If I ever become rich, I'm going to have a Personal Explainer for all things technological.
